Gatcombe

Yet another early morning as we headed off in the dark to Gatcombe with four on the lorry. Dassett Courage and Mere Oak both did dressage in their respective CIC sections and both lie in 6th place overnight. GI Master Caster and Noble Bestman both in the intermediate did good tests and and both jumped clear rounds show jumping. Sadly Caster took a small aversion to the corner at fence 6, so it was 20 penalties on this occasion. Noble Bestman excelled himself in his fourth intermediate to finish 6th. He now heads to South of England for the CIC**, the final part of his qualification for Weston Park CCI**.

Tomorrow its a day off from Eventing and we head back to Gatcombe on Sunday for the jumping phases of tht CIC. More updates to follow next week.

This week I have aquired a new ride for Osberton 5 year old championships. It is Outward Bound, previously ridden by Sam Griffiths but with him being in WEG I have luckily come in for the ride. We are going to have a run at Moreton Morrell in the BE100, before heading off to Osberton.
