I have walked the course for a second time today and it still seems huge. My initial plans still stand and I plan to take two long routes on Saturday. I will walk again tomorrow with Yogi and for a final time on Saturday early morning.
Today I did my first interview for BBC with Clare Balding, it was a daunting experience. But not as terrifying as going to the press conference and being sat next to Mary King and William Fox Pitt. I then did a radio interview for radio Burghley and a TV link.
Overnight after day one of dressage the results are:
1) Mary King 44.8*
2) Willliam Fox Pitt 46.8*
3) Laura Collett 47.0
Tomorrow I plan to jump Ginger and Cristal in the morning and then watch a few young event horses.
