Weston Park....

We headed to Weston with Millfield Condescend in the Novice and Ginger May Killinghurst and Rayef who were both competing in the Advanced.
They had a **** section which meant I could practise the Badminton test with Rayef, he was really good and is satrting to find the movements easier.... he broke in his extended trot when he jumped a patch of soil!!! He scored 29 so I was really pleased. He then jumped a brilliant showjumping round, we withdrew him from the xc which was always the plan after he ran well at Belton last week.... All on track for the big one now and fingers firmly crossed he stays in one piece for another week!
Ginger May Killinghurst was on great form, having not run at Belton she was rather fiesty all day!! She scored a 30.4 in the dressage and then left all the poles up in the showjumping, the time proved tight and I picked up 7 time faults but the main aim was to jump clear! She flew round the xc picking up 12 time penalties and a 9th placing!
Millfield Condescend was doing his first novice and he went fantastically, adding just 5 time faults to his dressage score of 29 to finish 6th.
