The A team were out again at Belton last weekend.... GINGER MAY KILLINGHURST and RAYEF in the CIC***, NOBLE BESTMAN and FERNHILL CRISTAL in the Advanced Under 25.
GINGER MAY KILLINGHURST wasn't loving the ground in her dressage so didn't produce her best test.. she scored 49.9 and was later withdrawn and will be saved for another day!
RAYEF was on brilliant form, he did a 41.5 which left him in a very competitive 4th place after 2 full days of dressage. He jumped a fantastic double clear, I didn't run him too fast xc as this was his final prep run before Badminton, he added 12.4 time pens to complete in 8th place.
He is now being wrapped up in cotton wool ready for Badminton... the nest 2 weeks are going to be very nerve wracking as he is so accident prone!!!
Fingers and toes firmly crossed!!
FERNHILL CRISTAL was very naughty in his dressage.... a little too excited about being an Advanced pony!!! He scored a 36.4 but redeemed himself with a lovely double clear... he felt fantsatic and really looking roward to him stepping up to *** this year!
NOBLE BESTMAN was doing his first Advanced... he proved he was more than ready when he added just 8 time faults xc to his 29.8 dressage and win the section!
A very pleasing weekend with all boys and girls home safe and sound!
